How can i get a frame for my portrait painting ?

Portraitit gives you the benefit of choosing a frame after you have placed your order. Go to My Account > Orders > Click on Edit > Choose a Finishing Option > Proceed to Payment

How many days does it take to deliver the portrait painting?

By checking out with Portraitit’s Free Service you will receive the best handmade custom painting from photos within 25 to 27 days. You can also get your painting delivered before time with our Express Service that reaches your doorstep within 15 to 17 days.

Can you include a dead / missing relative in a painting?

We can include a dead relative in a family portrait painting. All you have to do is place an order with our Compilation Portrait and leave the difficult part on us.

Is this handmade painting or computerised paintings?

All of our paintings are purely 100% handmade paintings made by top professionals in this field.

In what countries do you ship and what are the delivery charges?

We ship to every country, and we don’t charge any additional cost if you are opting for normal shipping.

Can you deliver my artworks by a specific date?

What do I have to keep in mind while choosing a photograph?

Keep in mind that the photo should be clear and can be zoomed in to notice details of the subject.

Where should I E-mail my photo to handmade portrait painting?

You can upload up to 10 photos on the order page, and if still you have to send us more images, you can E-mail them to us at info@portraitit.com.

Do you charge extra for modifications or changes which I would suggest?

No, we don’t charge for provide best handmade custom painting from photos. We believe in 100 % customer satisfaction.

Are there any hidden costs, service tax or any other charges?

What is a gift card? How can I buy it?

When you are not sure about what photo would the other person like a painting of or if you don’t have their photos, you can buy a gift card and send it to them as a gift.
Whenever the other person is ready with a photo, he can place the order by simply typing in a coupon code. This coupon code is valid for a lifetime so you don’t need to worry about anything.

Yes! You can use different payment methods for your 25 % down payment and your 75% final payment. However, please note that we can only accept a single payment method for your final payment (75 % of the purchase cost).

ORDERING

On the website, you show the size as 12x16 inches but I would like a 16x12 inches portrait. What should I do?

While placing the order, leave a comment in the “Additional Instructions” box and create an order. Our assigned solution expert will address all your queries and customizations.

Can I order a painting as a gift for someone else at a different location? Is it free?

Yes! Just mention it in the additional information box, and we will gift wrap the painting and ship to the address of the special person.
We do not charge any fees to gift wrap the box.

Do you show all your artworks on your online gallaries ?

No, we only display artwork in our gallery if we have received approval from our customers.

Why aren’t smaller size available ?

We want to ensure that you receive the highest-quality painting possible. For faces, our artists need at least 3×3 inches on the canvas/paper to achieve the best level of detail you’ll be happy with. An artwork with a canvas/paper smaller than 12 x 12 inches will give no room for our artists to display clear facial details or background elements.

Can I Choose the background for my portrait painting ?

Yes, you can! And at no extra cost to you 😉 When placing your order, you’ll have the opportunity to let us know about any changes you wish to have made to your photo including the background.

Cannot upload your photos ?

No worries, we’ve got you covered! If your photo is too “heavy” or is of a format that our website doesn’t accept, you can continue placing your order and send it as an attachment directly to info@portraitit.com. Our team will upload the photo to your order for you.

Can I order a custom-size portrait painting? What will the price be?

Yes! The price will be close to the nearest size. You can ask us before you place the order from the 24×7 Live Chat feature.

Can you frame the artwork for me?

Yes! We would love to do that.

What are the finishing/framing options available?

You can get a Rolled, Gallery Wrapped, or a Framed painting with Portraitit. To know more about how the frames look.

Can I view the portrait painting before you ship it?

Yes! Only after you approve the painting and are 100% satisfied with the work do we start the shipping process.

How do I apply a coupon code?

Can I merge multiple photos to make a best handmade custom painting from photos? Is it free?

Yes! We will do it for you, and this won’t attract any charges.

How can I merge multiple photos and get a single portrait painting?

If you don’t have all the people/subjects in one picture, you can send us the individual photos of each person/subject, and we will merge all the characters and send the photo to you for approval. Once approved, the photo will be sent to the professional artist.

Can I choose a background for my portrait painting?

Yes, you can. If you have a specific background in mind or even an idea of what you want, we can insert it and seek approval before starting the painting process.

What customization options do I have?

We have customization options like Face Swap, Style Transfer, Background Change, and Merging Multiple Characters.

Can I talk to the artist?

While you cannot talk directly to artists, they will receive all of your input, feedback, and modification requests via our online customer service team and our studio managers. Feel free to send us any inquiry/idea and our team will make sure to pass everything to the artist who’s working on your order and help you to make an artwork beautiful and satisfactory.

Who are the artists?

Our artists are based out of INDIA. All artists undergo a rigorous skill test before being employed to ensure that you receive world-leading quality!

Will the artist sign my custom painting?

Since we feature custom orders, you have the complete independence of getting the paintings signed or not.
If you want a signed painting, you will have to mention it in the notes to artist section or else it will be shipped without any signature.

Will I receive a canvas painting or paper painting?

The base of a painting depends on the medium you are choosing. Oil paintings and Acrylic paintings from photos are painted on high-quality canvas and Pencil, Charcoal, Colored Pencil and Watercolor on high-quality paper.

RETURN POLICY

How many days will it take to credit a refund?

It takes us 7 days to process your refund after you have mailed us why you did not like the portrait painting with the photo of the painting.

I am returning a painting which I bought through a gift card, where will I get my refund?

After the return is processed, we will credit the funds into your Gift Card.

Why do you not put the glass on your paintings?

Generally, photo frames come with a glass on top, but paintings are very different than a photo frame.
Paintings are lively, and the beauty of it fades away if there is a glass on top.
Also, mediums like Oil smudge if they are not allowed to breathe.
If you still wish to get a glass on top of the frame, order a rolled painting and frame it locally,
but we won’t be able to provide a refund if the panting smudges after you frame it with glass.

If I order a rolled painting, will it be delivered safely? Can I frame it later?

We deliver all rolled paintings in a Hard Art Tube. The painting is well protected and safely delivered.

Which mediums do you Gallery Wrap?

Gallery Wrapping needs a canvas that can be stretched, and hence all canvas portraits that are Oil and Acrylic can be Gallery Wrapped.
